What We Do

The company business process involves the following steps:

  • Design and procurement of dies for the various of aluminum extrusion profiles required by the market. The aluminum profiles are of 3 major types:
    • Common aluminum sections: those that are standard design and widely used such as aluminum curtain tracks, ceiling light diffusers, common design aluminum sliding doors and windows
    • Project based aluminum sections: tailored design for specific projects such as a condominium or housing project , where the aluminum extrusion design and choice of finishing is according to architects specifications and different from those commonly available
    • Tailored design for specific profile for industrial usage. I.e. furniture, electronic, electrical and etc
  • Once the dies are procured, they will be tested to determine if the dies designed will produce the aluminum extrusions in accordance to the specifications

  • Upon successful testing of the dies, production of the aluminum extrusion to meet the customer order will commence. The aluminum billets are cut to length, loaded into the preheated furnace at a specified temperature to soften them. Once the cut billets are soften, they are fed to the extrusion press which has the preheated die for the required aluminum extrusion loaded. The aluminum extrusion press, with a hydraulic ramp, will force the softened billets against the die, and extrude the aluminum through the die to form the required aluminum extrusion sections. The extruded aluminum sections are subject to quality control inspection at this stage to ensure that the meet the specifications. If the specifications are not met, production is stopped to prevent wastage and rejection of the finished good. Investigation/rectification of the die is carried out before production is continued. The extruded sections are relatively soft at this stage and they are cut to length of generally 6.1M. The extruded aluminum sections are then racked and loaded into the ageing oven, at a set temperature. Upon completion of the ageing process, the hardness of the aluminum extrusions is restored. At this stage, the sections are mill finished, ie, without anodizing or powder coating. These can be sold as is, or be put through the next step for finishing depending on customers needs. Depending on customers orders, the aged extrusions are now ready for the next step of finishing according to customer orders.

  • For anodizing, the mill finished product goes through rinsing, before being immersed in anodizing tanks with premixed chemicals which apply a protective coating to the extrusions. The anodizing coating consists of variety of colors such as natural, bronze, gold, black. Another finishing option is powder coating. Various colours can be specified as well. Upon completion of finishing, the products are packed, wrapped and delivery to customers arranged.
